Quick search

Above the contents of every page you will always find a search bar. Here you can make a few choices, namely which type of carrier you seek (cd, sacd, dvd, blu-ray) combined with which category you seek (artist, title, composer, etc.) and of course the search bar itself with room to fill in the search criteria (for instance "Michael Jackson").

Advanced search

To be able to search with multiple search criteria you need to choose the option "advanced search". This option can be found on the right side of the Quick Search-bar. With this feature you are able to search through our database (250.000 products) with no less than 12 specific aspects (incl. label, genre, etc.) at the same time, which will filter the results considerably. With one limitation: The system shows a maximum of 2.500 results. Any larger in number and they will not be shown. More than 2.500 results slows down the site!

Placing an order

Ordering at CDenDVD.nl is very easy and includes the following steps.

You can choose between ‘Quick ordering’ (without registration) and ‘Ordering using your account’. If you wish to order more products in the future, we recommend you to make an account. This will ensure that your address and contact-data will be stored and will speed up possible orders in the future.

Creating an account:

When you ceate an account you enter your name, your billing address (and delivery address) and email-address. The access to the account is protected by a password which you can choose yourself. As soon as you’ve successfully made an account and confirmed the account through a confirmation-email, you are ready to place an order.

Step 1:

Click on the desired product(s) and click on "Place in shopping cart".

Step 2:

You now see the contents of the shopping basket. There are a few options that you can make here. You can cancel the current order, you can update the contents (for instance: you want 2 items of the same product instead of 1), you can continue shopping (the current product(s) remain in the shopping basket) and you can choose to finish the ordering process.

Step 3:

After choosing ‘Quick ordering’, or ‘Ordering using your account’, you can place your billing address and a possible alternative delivery address. If both addresses are the same you need only to check the box to copy the data from the billing address to the delivery address.
Here you can also place possible remarks, such as ‘please wrap the product as a present’ etc.

Step 4:

As soon as you’re certain your data is correctly entered click on ‘Pay’.

Step 5:

You now see a summary of the ordered product(s), the order amount, the billing address, the shipping address, the method of payment and the method of shipping.

Step 6:

If the data is correct please choose the method of payment. For buyers from outside Holland we recommend Paypal as method of payment. The default delivery method is‘Shipping with PostNL/TNT Parcel service’. Products will be send with Basic Priority Post.

If everything is in order please choose ‘Confirm’. The order has now been placed and a final screen shows a basic summary of your order. By email you will receive an order confirmation.

PLEASE NOTE:
When you order more than one item of the same product, or a number of different products we will do our best to deliver them in one shipment. The general order & delivery time of your order will in that case be the same as the time it takes to receive and ship the product with the longest ordering & delivery time. In case the delivery time differs too much between articles we will send partial deliveries but only within the Netherlands. If you wish to receive a partial delivery outside Holland, or if there are several shipping addresses, we request you contact us through .

Cancelling an order

You can cancel an order (whole or partial) within 7 office days after placing the order by contacting us. More information on this subject can be found in the heading “Returning".

New order

Your order has been received and will be processed as soon as possible. Your order sheet and our stock is being checked.

Problem with payment

There might be a problem with your Paypal, iDEAL- or Banktransfer. Or we were denied to charge your credit card, or the invoice amount is higher than the credit card limit. In general: we have not yet been able to process your order.

Problem with the address

With the provided address data we are unable to ship the order. Please contact us as soon as possible.

Ready for processing

Your order (fully or partially) is ready to be packed and shipped.

Paying in advance by bank transfer (only available in the Dutch version of our website for customers in the Netherlands and Belgium)

The following data are necessary for payments outside Holland:

Payments from Belgium must be send with the IBAN & BIC-codes to work. Please choose SHARED COSTS for a cost free transfer for both seller & buyer. We ask everyone outside Holland and Belgium not to use this payment option, but to choose Paypal.

Not in stock

One or more products are not in stock right now. As soon as all products are ready for shipment, we will immediately prepare the order. Partial deliveries within Holland are certainly possible! Especially if you order multiple items of the same product, or products with very different order & delivery times. Outside Holland we only ship when everything has arrived from the supplier(s).

Cancelled

The order was cancelled and will therefore not be delivered to the given address. We will contact you soon.

(Temporarily) unavailable

One or more of the ordered products are (temporarily) unavailable and will therefore not be delivered to the given address. We will contact you soon.

Shipped

Your order (fully or partially) has been shipped, or has been picked up at our store.

Privacy

Your personal data (only of interest in case you chose to make an account)

All personal data can be viewed in your account. We will not distribute your personal data without your permission, with the exception of third parties who may have been hired to execute the order. We appreciate the confidence you have in us and we will do everything in our power to keep your personal information safe.

Your personal data is only being used for the following purposes:

• If you place an order, your name and contact data will be used to execute the order and to inform you about its status.
• Information about your purchases enables us to personalize the website even more.
• Your possible feedback helps us to further develop and improve the website.
• We will keep you informed about large improvements which possibly have profound consequences for ‘Your account’.
• In a later stadium we will send you an e-mailing with a few offers (with a mandatory OPT-OUT). If you use this opt-out we will no longer send you commercial mailings.

Modifications

In ‘Your account’ you can always change your personal data. And if not you can always contact us to do it for you. This includes the billing address and the used email-address.

Forgotten the password?

Go to ‘My Account’ (top of the page – right side). You only need to click on "Forgot password?".

After doing this you will be able to fill in your email address. Within a few minutes you will receive an email in which you will find your password.

Here are a few general tips for choosing a password. These tips do not just apply for CDenDVD.nl, but for all situations in which passwords are required.

• Always use a different and unique password for every website you visit.
• Alter your passwords (if possible) regularly.
• Use passwords with at least 8 letters and/or numbers.
• A good password always contains a combination of CAPITAL letters, small letters and numbers.
• Do not use to obvious passwords, such as names, words from dictionaries, birthdates, etc.
